Privacy Policy

Effective date: 13 October 2026

The short version: we collect only what we need to talk to you about your project, we never sell it, and you can ask us what we hold about you at any time. The details are below.

This policy explains how Holly Anthony trading as Haver Design Studio (ABN 19 210 185 244) ("Haver Design Studio", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information. It applies to haverdesign.co and to discovery calls booked through it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

Information you give us

  • When you book a call: your name, email address, company, the time you choose, and anything you share in the booking questions.
  • When you email us: your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
  • During a discovery call: what you tell us about your business, team and project. With your knowledge, this includes a recording, transcript and notes of the call (see section 4).

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we collect usage information through Google Analytics and cookies. This includes the pages you view, how long you stay, how you found us, your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We use it in aggregate and don't use it to identify you.

We don't knowingly collect sensitive information, such as health information or information about your political views. Please don't share it with us.

2. How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and manage call bookings
  • prepare for and follow up on discovery calls, including sending a proposal if you ask for one
  • understand how people use the site so we can improve it
  • keep the site secure and working properly
  • meet our legal obligations

If you become a client, our service agreement explains how we handle information during the engagement.

3. Marketing

We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you've agreed to it. Any marketing email we send will include an easy way to unsubscribe, as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) requires.

4. Discovery call recordings

We use Fathom to record and transcribe discovery calls. Fathom also produces AI-generated notes, which we use so we can focus on the conversation instead of taking notes.

  • We'll tell you at the start of every call that we record.
  • If you'd prefer not to be recorded, just say so and we won't record.
  • We use recordings, transcripts and notes only to understand your needs and prepare a proposal. We don't share them publicly or use them for marketing.
  • We keep them for 12 months after the call unless you become a client, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

5. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them for:

  • Analytics (Google Analytics): to understand visits and traffic in aggregate. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Booking (Calendly): Calendly may set cookies when you use the booking tool, under its own privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features, such as booking, may not.

6. Who we share it with

We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

  • Webflow: hosts the website
  • Calendly: manages call bookings
  • Google Analytics: website analytics
  • Fathom: records and transcribes discovery calls
  • Our email provider: sends and stores email

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.

7. Information sent overseas

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We use reputable providers with appropriate security and privacy commitments. By using the site, booking a call or contacting us, you acknowledge that your information may be stored and processed overseas.

8. How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. These include secure, access-controlled accounts and limiting access to people who need it. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information sent online.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or as the law requires. Then we delete it or de-identify it.

9. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email holly@haverdesign.co. We'll respond within 30 days. If we can't do what you ask, we'll explain why.

10. Visitors from the UK and EU

If you're in the UK or EU, you may have additional rights under the GDPR. These include the right to object to processing, restrict it, or receive your data in a portable format. We rely on our legitimate interests to respond to enquiries and run the site, and on your consent for call recordings. To use these rights, email holly@haverdesign.co. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Complaints

If you're concerned about how we've handled your information, please email holly@haverdesign.co first. We'll look into it and reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with its effective date at the top.
